 I can fill in a few gaps about the background and history of this car. It's a Japanese market 2004 Crown Sedan (not Crown Comfort) Super Deluxe Mild Hybrid [GBS12], originally silver in colour, that was imported to the UK in 2018 and converted into a HK taxi replica for filming. It has since been in the hands of two private owners, one of whom is in a Facebook group I help run for overseas Comfort/Crown Comfort/Crown Sedan owners. The current owner says it will appear in a future episode of The Crown.

It has the UK registration LE53 KOV and here is the information from DVLA

These rear lights were introduced in 2001 for the upscale Crown Sedan in Japan. This is, in fact, a JDM 2004 Crown Sedan (see my other comment). Hong Kong-market Crown Comforts later adopted them ca. 2007.
