Indeed 'Lelijk Eendje' (Ugly Duckling) was often used as well, but just 'Eend' is more common. 'Eend' is pronounced as 'ain't': in the 70s one could often read the text "Eend she sweet?" on the luggage lid of a 2CV. Other popular texts were "My other car is a Rolls" and "I paid my for car myself, did you too?"... |
