Believe it or not DSL, it's the car's original number. There's no recorded change of plate. I'm not far off getting it where I want it cosmetically, so I shall do some pics then. |

Am not questioning the number's originality, just smiling at the convergence. RED xxxR series was issued in Warrington, Feb-March 1977. Seems you have an interesting collection?? |

I know you weren't, but a lot of people would question it hence my clarification. I don't know much of my car's early history sadly, all I know is that I bought it from a chap in Grantham who had bought it in 1989. It had eight owners in the 12 years before him - I'm assuming some were traders but I'd be keen to contact some of them. I do! Though at present I need to update that list. I should add that I'm aware it's a 1977-registered car and is listed here as 1976 - but the chassis number denotes that the car was built in 1976. -- Last edit: 2018-10-15 04:18:13 |
