Hard to tell. At first I was inclined to say the cluster was broken but that wouldn't explain the RPMs being around 1500. Most idles are lower than 1K RPMs. I know my Honda idles around 850-900 RPMS. |

My '87 Accord LX-i idles around 1500 RPMs on a cold start, but then settles down to around 800-900 when warmed up. |

You should have seen when my Accord's coolant temperature sensor failed. The idle was so wonky that it often wouldn't stay running when cold unless I kept feathering the throttle. |

Very valid point. Maybe they snapped the pic as the car was starting which could explain all the lights being on and the high RPMs |
