It's a 1960 Bel-Air 4 door sedan. |

1960 Chevrolet. No triple tail lights, so not an Impala. No chrome between these lights, which excludes also the Bel Air. So it has to be a Biscayne. Does the large V on the boot lid mean that the car has a V8 engine? |

It's a Bel-Air. Only Impala had the chrome panel at the tail lights and the 3 lights. This does have the chrome border around the tail light panel which the Biscaye did not have. Also notice the chrome piece going from the back to the spear on the rear door as shown in the first mini-photo. Not used on Biscayne. |

I'll have misunderstood my (French) info Btw, does that V indeed indicate a V8? If so, the chassis code would be [1619]; if not, it could also be the six-cylinder [1519]. |

I believe the trunk emblem was the same on all models, 6 or V8. Comments. |

Indeed, the V indicates a V8 engine fitted in this car. |
