Apparently this is to show that doctors in Britain make a good living. |

So would doctors in America I'd imagine. |

I think the point is to show Americans that doctors would still do well under a universal healthcare system and wouldn't be reduced to being poorly-paid government workers. |

So, from the plate, it isn't Sportback , but only A3 (Typ 8P) |

They do not always include the full real name. Is it visible that it is a Sportback (5-door), or was it just a guess? -- Last edit: 2007-07-24 17:50:47 |

Yes, an Audi A3, that's really living the high life! |

What do you mean? That's much nicer and more expensive than your "average Joe" Impala... -- Last edit: 2008-08-11 19:43:21 (G-MANN) |

Compared to other cars in the UK (where cars are more expensive), the A3 isn't particularly expensive. Yes, being an Audi, it's more expensive than the equivalent size Vauxhall or Ford but Michael Moore should have shown an A6 or something like that to prove his point better that NHS doctors earn a good living. But then, from the front, Audis all look the same so someone might think this is an A6 -- Last edit: 2008-08-11 19:50:14 |

Well to most people (i.e. people unlike us who notice small differences in cars) an Audi is an Audi, regardless of if it's an A8 or an A3. This is especially true to Americans, who generally see Audis as "high-class" vehicles. I guess this is not so much the case in the UK, and Europe in general though? |

In Britain Audis are reasonably upmarket, on the same level as BMW and Mercedes. We probably pay more for them than they do in Germany. -- Last edit: 2010-05-16 03:10:29 |

It is the 5 door Sportback version, I checked the registration on the Autotrader and it says so. |
