Has an "Eagle" logo above the TUG logo, and searching for Eagle Tug gives the site of a company that describe its products as "Eagle tugs". But TUG being writing like a logo, I wonder what would be the right name for that vehicle, wasn't TUG a make? Or is it owned by that Eagle company? By the way, this vehicle looks similar to that one: /vehicle_80100-Tug-MA-50.html (which probably also has that Eagle logo from what I see) |

Like this? link for Tug MA-50 Eagle is more than likely the airline that supposedly owns it. -- Last edit: 2007-07-22 04:29:18 |

Eagle is also a make of such vehicles, hence my question: http://www.eagletugs.com/content.aspx?p=0209061117449029 And they use the name "tug" on their site, which is strange if Tug is a competing make -- Last edit: 2007-07-22 16:06:18 |

The first thing I noticed was the difference in the Eagle logos, the tug pic above is exactly identical to the unit shown on the Tug International site I provided the link to, I didnt see a matching tow vehicle on the link you provided, nor did I see a (stamped) tug logo on any Eagle equipment. |

Indeed. But is "Baggage tug" really useful after the name? It is strange to qualify a TUG as being a Tug And why not apply that to all similar ones then... -- Last edit: 2007-07-22 18:19:59 |

The MA-50 is defined as a baggage tug on their site, aircraft tugs are normally more stout, makes no difference to me. |

Well, indeed it could be useful to mention if it is for aircraft or baggages, I did not think to that... |
