I don't think so, Ingo. The front bumpers indicators look to me those ones used in the fiftes for the USA market.

If US model, a 1956-57 (towel rails 1956, top mounted indicators 1958)

These older style indicators also seen on some European cars, IIRC the Dutch market used them. Towel rails were optional (called Amerikabügel in D?)

Oh yes. I forgot it because they were not seen in Italy.

a) yes, an original extra
b) and (for example in West Germany) standard for the better equipped "Export" version.
c) because of b) it wasn't seen as an US-spec part.

Alternative facts?

At least the rear view verifies an older decklid (last MY is 1957) and correct taillights for 1956-57 (model years mentioned above)
