Assuming it's not a later import, here's the Australian 1939 Pontiac brochure: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.org" Model names Silver Arrow (115 inch wheelbase, sedan and coupe) and Chieftain (120 inch wheelbase, sedan only), bodies by Holden. I'd guess the shorter wheelbase here, but not with much confidence. |

My history of Holden says that for 1939 Holden built 863 Silver Arrows and 537 Chieftains. The longer wheelbase model would be the 8 I think. I will go for Silver Arrow with this one. |
