A year ago I bought a 52 Willys Aero Lark from a guy in California. It is the same faded burgundy color as the one in the movie and has no hood ornament like the one in the movie. You can see the color when Michael J Fox holds the letter up to the headlight. I think I might have this car or at least I'm really interested to find out. rickOmatic, you seem to have some knowledge on the history of this car, how can I find out? Thanks!

baredjader, sorry about the very, very slow reply. Larry's car had a wrong serial number plate attached to it, so I do not have the correct serial number for this car, but the number on his car is 653-KA1 10111, a 1953 Aero Lark 2-door. The serial number plate was taken from a junker because this car was missing its plate. Larry repainted the car two-toned with a red top and white bottom and sold it to a man named Pete Masud. Here is a pic of the car after the repaint. The car was originally, before the maroon in the movie, off-white with a blue top.
