Badged as a Chevrolet, not an Opel. The film was shot in Mexico. -- Last edit: 2007-07-13 18:46:28 |

Are you sure, that this scene was filmed in Mexico? I don't think so. If you see the first thumbnail, you see a Seat Leon in the background. So it was rather filmed in Spain. If indeed in Spain, the car could be made in Germany, Britain, Poland or Belgium. |

Otherwise the last thumbnail is surely from Mexico, as this Mercedes-truck was never sold in Europe. Hah, I have an idea! Here we have two scenes with two (or more) different cars, filmed in two different countries! This answeres also caioficetech's astonishment |

The best would be, if anyone of our Mexicans (or Spanish) members here could identify the location of every thumbnail/scene. |

I remember reading comments on the IMDB (long gone) saying that everything was filmed in Mexico except aerial shots of Salamanca. |

ingo: these pictures are in Mexico. The Mercedes-Benz "linha tradicional" in the image, are sold in Mexico. |

ingo knows that, but he thought that the shots with Seats could not be from Mexico. |

GM had no better idea to call Vectra, the Astra [H] of the image in the Mercosur. http://www.chevrolet.com.ar/vehiculos/Autos/Vectra/Vectra-Vectra.html |

In South Africa and Germany it is called Opel in the United Kingdom it's Vauxhall. See other countries it's Chevrolet. Just want to know if it has the Chevrolet logo why not been sold in the U.S? |

it was sold from 2008 to 2010 as Saturn Astra |

@Jack Stone we received a rebadged version (no idea why) called this: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/Saturn/Astra/2008/ Saturn Astra and it was only around for 2008 & 2009 I believe. Edit: 2006-2008 these were sold in Mexico. However, due to GM badge placement this should be a 2006 only model. -- Last edit: 2020-08-05 17:51:28 |
