 XJ Series II. Is that a Daimler grille?

 No - just a Jag grille, but I think it has the longer taper to the central bar for XJ12. Daimlers were not sold in US - only Jag branded versions, including some Daimler equivalents later such as Jaguar Vanden Plas.
