Either an Austin A135 Princess, or Just a Princess Limousine or evan a Vanden Plas Princess Limousine. |

Austin A135 Princess was something slightly different, usually referred to as the Sheerline and smaller, made at Longbridge. The 4-Litre Limousine was a VdP-built LWB adaptation with the sequence of Austin/Princess/VdP branding, but apart from first year never had A135 title, which we only use on Sheerlines. This one is a Princess or a VdP with shiny trim on pillar behind rear doors, instead of the body colour painted pillars used on the first series as Austins. |

The Sheerline was not the same car as the Princess. It used a pressed steel body, not coachbuilt. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austin_Sheerline -- Last edit: 2018-07-16 16:46:58 |
