92-96 taillights, not sure why it's listed as 1996. |

Registration. As someone that exports vehicles to this country (and a few others), I put 1996 for a reason. -- Last edit: 2018-07-15 20:55:12 |

Also, it is grossly presumptuous to automatically assume all of these vehicles have all been imported used, as if there are no dealers that sold them officially in these countries. Toyota and Honda particularly have been distributed officially to Nigeria for decades, but when too expensive for various locals (hiked up prices), they will be bought through grey market importers instead. It is more obvious to notice this with US-spec cars as opposed to EU-spec, which can easily parallel what is officially sold in this market and luxury brands like Lexus. I can say that only Acura, Lexus, and Infiniti, are the most obvious grey market imports, by virtue of there being no official distributors of those brands in this region. As well as certain nameplates, not offered officially (Passport, 4Runner, Highlander, Taurus, Avalon, etc). A Land Cruiser, Fortuner, or Patrol can easily be expected to be locally-bought new, versus that of a Toyota Venza or Nissan Murano, grey imported in "new" or used. |

Well, it was submitted as Carina E, (E for Europe) so naturally made for EU was applied, unless you have proof it was sold new as Carina E down in Nigeria or wherever this is. Do you have any pictures of the interior (steering wheel) to narrow the year range down? |
