Miss Thornton is warming her feet on the radiator, which leaves no doubts on the make. But Silver Cloud I or II? Without an engine view impossible to tell. |

“Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud Standard Steel Saloon”, always assuming it is one. dsl has theories about headlight spiders and the size of the overriders and there is always the possibility that it is a coachbuilt, a Long Wheelbase, or even a Bentley in disguise, the picture is very poor and from an unhelpful angle. -- Last edit: 2018-06-23 19:23:28 |

Sadly neither are helpful here. The headlight spiders theory is a torch passed on by chris40, and only works on UK/RHD S1 - export LHD S1 didn't have them, nor did any S2 for anywhere. Small over-riders is only a trick for S3s in UK and Europe (and maybe HK, Aus, etc) compared to big ones carried over from S1 and S2 for S3 intended for US and CDN. |
