That shouldnt even be alowed to happen to a base model mustang. anyone who willing destroys a classic car should be dragged out to the middle of the street and stoned to death. |

The one in War of the Worlds was real. It was on stage at the New York Auto Show when they unveiled the 2006 Shelby GT-H. It belongs to the owner of Picture Cars East (PixxCars.com) in New York. |

The car we blew up in American Gangster was a shell which we purchased from a Junk Yard in PA. It was ready to be scrapped. There was no floors, and most of it was rusted thru and thru. We spent about 20K making it a clone of the real Shelby used in the other scenes of the movie.(that one was the real deal No. 1886 whch is sitting in my garage right now) movie making is all smoke and mirrors after all. |

well the body isn't warped so its just fire damage nothing serious, i've fixed up worse cars than that, its just expensive replacing all the interior trim! |

i have a car in this movie,after filming they sold many of these cars, including this mustang, if you google unclehotrod13 and look under the Hemming Motors site (on the movie set) you can see all the pix i took, also some from Indiana Jones Crystal Skull....to see some stuff on the set, go to u tube under unclehotrod13.. i have the astro blue 1965 buick special, when denzel shoots the guy in the street look over his shoulder,you actually see me pass 3 times in a row! -- Last edit: 2011-05-23 04:50:56 |

Belongs to Nick Trupo, a corrupt detective sergeant in the NYPD Special Narcotic Investigation Unit. Trupo was based on former NYPD Detective, Robert Leuci who was in the NYPD Narcotics Special Investigative Unit during the late 1960s, early 1970s.
