This car is built and sold as a 1975 model and if that wouldn´t have been possible to find out it is of the same specification as the 1974 models, black grille and square rear lights. Even if that modification happened in august of -73 it was the news for -74, so why call it a -73? Were they sold as 1973 models in Germany for two years?

DAF555 ◊ 2006-03-26 23:14	That´s not very likely, and evenso it would still be given the correct modelyear in the registry. Furthermore it doesn´t match the 1973 specs, at least not for this market.

The model '74 is the US model with the big bumper. The model '73 meens all (euro) cars with black plastic grille. 1602-2002 The model '75 is only the low budget 1502 without chrome beadings.

Still, no cars looking like this were sold on the swedish market as 1973 models, they were 1974 or 75. And this one is a 1975 car, nothing else. Being sold in june, it was probably even produced in 1975. It´s of course of some interest that production began in august 73, but it´s of far greater interest that they were actually sold as 1974 cars when they reached the market.
