Executive or Patrician sedan, Commander 57?? |

I'd lean towards Patrician because there's a "colored stripe" near the bumper that cuts off for a bit when it's at the front wheel arch -- Last edit: 2018-06-04 18:12:39 |

Definitely not an Executive, which had a wide color band stretching all the way to the headlamps over the top of the side molding. It also cannot be a Caribbean owing to the hood ornament. (The Caribbean had twin air scoops.) So Patrician? Well, maybe. There is another possibility, and that's the 400. It had an identical grille to the other senior series and also had the Patrician style hood ornament. We can't quite see enough to tell if this is a sedan or hardtop, so will just leave as "1956 Packard" unless and until we get another view. |

Well, this IS the only view of the car |

Actually, i take that back, there's an overhead shot where we see the top of the car, and it kinda reminds me of a convertible, so i think it's a 400 -- Last edit: 2018-06-04 21:37:25 |

@JohnnyK - The only Packard convertible was a Caribbean. The 400 was a coupe. I'll stick with what Commander 57 says.. -- Last edit: 2018-06-05 00:37:15 |
