Really? Didn't Jfs own dozens of them which he all chopped to pieces sooner or later? -- Last edit: 2018-05-31 19:06:13 |

Never owned any Oxford, that was my father. My preference, given the choice, and the money, was Fords, 1954 103E, ‘63 105E, ‘65 Cortina, ‘69 Capri, ‘73 Capri, ‘76 Granada, ‘79 Cortina, ‘84 Escort, ‘86 Escort, not all in that order. Since then, apart from 3 Vauxhalls, all my cars have been German. ‘96 Golf Estate, 2000 Golf Estate, ‘06 A4 Avant, ‘12 C-Class Estate, ‘18 C-Class Estate. The things that got destroyed by overloading and overdriving were 4 Hillman Hunter Estates supplied by my employer between ‘72 and ‘77. The Oxford 4 was quite unusual, only being built for about 3 years. I also had a Triumph Herald with a 1234 RW plate like in the picture, but mine was a 1200 coupé. -- Last edit: 2018-05-31 16:35:24 |
