Ep.1.16 "Maigret aux assises" In Brussel. I didn't find any P5 with that sort of "RS" trim level (stripes on the sides)... tuning? |

I think it's the edgier [P7], not a [P5], so it might be a genuine 20m RS (1968-1971). |

But the rear doesn't match at all with the P7, rear lights are on the side on the P5 like on this one |

The early [P7]s had horizontal rearlights, but soon they changed the shape of these cars (too american) to a more exepted version [P7-Facelift] or [P7b], called "Die Linie der Vernunft" ("the line of common sense") and the vertical taillights on the edge came back. I must admit that I do not know when this change was made, but if I remember well it was rather soon after the first [P7], later called [P7a], was introduced. The first P7 only lasted one year, from August 1967 to August 1968, when this new body was introduced. I agree with you, this is a P7-Facelift and it seems to be a 20M RS. |
