johnfromstaffs ◊ 2018-05-17 09:36	Potteries Motor Traction Leyland Tiger passing The Roaches while bound for Hanley. 1949 OPS1/1 with body by Burlingham from the MEH series is a possibility, or 1949 PS2/5 with Brush body (following an ECW design) from the NEH series which may be more likely from the shape of the destination indicator. http://www.classicbuses.co.uk/pmt.html In the period after WW2 PMT bought up several local competing companies, many of which had Tiger single deck buses in their fleets and there was a great amount of body interchange and modification which took place. johnfromstaffs ◊ 2018-05-18 11:45	I have exhumed a photograph of NEH 436, fleet no. S436 in the Potteries Motor Traction stud which confirms beyond doubt that this is the PS2/5/Brush as thought. For those of a detective (or defective?) frame of mind, the image appears in “Classic Bus” issue 139 October/November 2015 on page 14 as the frontispiece to an article on 1950s Potteries buses.
