1/2 ton trucks are AK Series, 3/4 ton trucks were AL Series. Im thinking this is a 3/4 ton based on body height, comments? -- Last edit: 2007-07-03 19:14:00 |

The 1941-47 Three-Quarter Ton Pick-up (1941 official name and writing) had a 125¾" / 3.18 m wheelbase and only one vertical reinforcement bar in front of the rear wheel arch. As this truck has another one behind, it is made on the 134½" / 3.42 m wheelbase. Which means, in 1941, only 1-ton and 1½-ton YR models, officially named One Ton and Heavy-Duty trucks. The wheel rims are not the genuine ones, but assuming that these hub caps can't fit on the dual rear wheels of the Heavy-Duty model, this truck can't be anything else than a One Ton one. YR appears to be too specific (1941 only), while the 1941-59 3804 fits as well. -- Last edit: 2015-09-17 06:55:59 |
