Update: The Clinomobil-Hospitalwerke GmbH of Langenhagen/ Hannover built these VW-based Clinomobil ambulances, as well as the Clinocopter between approx. 1961 and 1967. The company was founded in 1954 (apparently supported by Auto Union) and filed for bankruptcy around 1967. Each Clinomobil cost DM 75.000,-.
