Maybe Willys-Knight but not sure. If we could work out which movie this came from.... |

The Checker next to it is the same one from Thoroughly Modern Millie but this isn't listed there. |

Really? I thought this was that Star Trek episode where Kirk and Spock go back to the 1920's and get in the middle of a mob war. -- Last edit: 2018-04-24 07:02:21 |

I don't see anything similar there - /movie_60028-Star-Trek.html - but I see there are still a couple of unknowns in there. |

/movie_62362-Thoroughly-Modern-Millie.html No clues from that lot. -- Last edit: 2018-04-25 00:18:55 |

The full movie is at archive.org; I'll see if I can spot this scene. |

Hm. A quick perusal yielded some scenes with that cab arriving but none with it driving by nor did I see any street with those lampposts. I guess it's from some other source. ETA: if this is from TMM, it's likely toward the end. Between Dragon Lady Mrs. Meers hailing a cab and arriving in Chinatown. -- Last edit: 2018-04-25 04:58:10 |

Could very well be the same street seen in "A Piece of the Action" from the opposite end. I've tried looking through other Universal productions from the period, Paramount as well, but that doesn't seem to help any. -- Last edit: 2018-05-04 04:37:25 |

This has to be somewhere around Universal's backlot. https://www.flickr.com/photos/79761301@N00/27937290579 -- Last edit: 2020-03-29 19:17:08 |
