"This little runabout was made in 1912.." but looks at least 10 to 15 years later to me! |

How do you distinguish? What do you mean by made? Fabrication and assembly or just chucking together ckd kits? Assuming European assembly there is the choice of Berlin, Copenhagen, Cork or Manchester. From where would the pressed parts, castings and forgings have been sourced? Did Ford produce additional tooling for issue to assembly points to permit local supply, or were parts requiring such tooling shipped from USA? The model Y, despite its American design, was produced in Europe from the ground up, but I suspect that the infrastructure may not have existed outside USA at the time of the T, maybe things changed when Dagenham got going for full scale production, with its own foundry and such. Simple question, possibly complex answer. -- Last edit: 2018-04-20 11:50:59 |

My mistake, although it has the nickel radiator, it is still the old tall style with non-offset headlights and is therefore a 1925 and not a 1926. |
