Alexander posted a photo of the Hanomag Rekord used in the film, from the Retromobil classic car club. Looking around the Retromobil site, I've found that this truck is a club member's Opel Blitz: Link to "www.retromobil.ro" http://www.retromobil.ro/galerie_foto/veh_rcr/veh_rcr.html Note that the Blitz is painted with Wehrmacht markings in the club photo, exactly as it appears in the film. I wonder if it was painted for the film, or if the producers used it because it already had German markings. |
