Seems to have a large rear screen, so A35. Two A40s and an A55 MkI, I think, also in the picture. -- Last edit: 2018-03-27 20:49:30 |

But A35 without front signals under headlights? |

I think rapid might have a point there. Maybe it is an A30 and the sunshade makes the rear window look bigger than it really is? |

I think it's a van, so rear window size is irrelevant. HVG 80 - Norwich, June-Nov 55 or MVG 80 = March-July 59. Early A35 vans (until 1960??) had semaphores, not front indicators. So early 1959 A35 van with MVG 80 plate seems to tick all the boxes?? |

MVC80? MVC series, 1953, Coventry However its not a van but a saloon I believe the rear wing form drops away at the back and is distinct from the upper body. compare with this van /vehicle_38437-Austin-A30-Van-AV4-1956.html Also didn't vans have at least one door or wing mirror back then? -- Last edit: 2018-03-27 22:12:12 |

Looking harder, let’s go for the A30 saloon. The camera is looking at a slight angle which may make the rear screen seem bigger. |

I agree - not a van. |
