It is a Leyland RTL (1948). The Leyland RTL is almost identical to the AEC RT (Regent III). The Bodies for both were made by either Park Royal or Metro-Cammell. The Leyland chassis were used as AEC could not keep up with the demand. The only obvious difference is the radiator. |

The last RTLs used in London were on the 10 and 25 routes supplied by Bow garage.By 1968 they were all gone. |

That was a 60s photo as the bands were painted white in later years instead of cream. |

Sorry twoslices, the last RTLs operated out of Willesden (AC) on the 226 and 176. The last RTL ran on the 176, and the last RTW from Brixton (BN) ran on the 95. |
