Who is the asshole that say this is a 1975 model, This Chevette is likely 1982-83 ( all the Chevettes from US is from 1976, and the square lights from 1979, and the tailights redesigned is from 1980, and this model with black bumpers from 1982 forward) |

I have to agree that it's a 1982-83 model cause of the black chrome, the 1980+ models have the side taillights. |

The Chevette was introduced in Brasil in 1973 based on a German Opel Kadett where Chevrolet Brasil sold it in Latin America as a 2 door sedan - the hatchback which was introduced in 1976 was the USA model (the T-platform cars - Chevette, Kadett, Gemini (Holden, Isuzu), and the Buick/Opel (Isuzu Gemini) were the first GM world cars - the introduction of the T platform ended sales of the Vega (H platform exc the H Special (Monza and derivatives) when the quality control issues gave GM a black eye |
