Or is it just an optical illusion that the bike on the left looks to have different forks. A brief bit of research shows the WL retained the springer forks to the end in about 1952. -- Last edit: 2018-02-19 20:49:02 |

A little more digging, these could be '37-48 model U (U, UL, ULH etc), 74 & 80" motors, would make more sense to me for police bikes, the 45 was always intended to be a utilitarian cross-country plodder. I can't find enough info to tell a model U from a 45 unless you're stood next to them. |
