Peugeot P4, as it seems some of them had have been built with round headlamps...but the grill seems not matching -- Last edit: 2007-06-16 12:58:48 |

Could it just be a G-Wagen with the Mercedes badge on the grill removed? Edit: No, because it hasn't got indicators on top: /vehicle_65120-Mercedes-Benz-G-320-W463-1994.html -- Last edit: 2007-06-16 13:57:50 |

yep...all a Peugeot P4 is, is a standard low spec Mercedes Benz G4 but fitted with a Peugeot 504 car engine...from 1981 to 84 the conversions were by Peugeot, from 1985 onward by Panhard, so depending on the unknown year of the pictured vehicle, its either a Peugeot or Panhard version...difficult to say without seeing under the hood. |

on the P4, doors were not in steel , like it seems to be here. But it' s right, we don't see the "Mercedes"indicator |

not really! as the company once was named "steyr-daimler-puch", there is tthe "mercedes-connection". but its manufactured in graz-thondorf in austria. today the company is named "magna steyr". the firm of frank stronach. well, there is a lot of 4WD-know how in graz. I would say: the chassis is steyr. but the engine, I suppose, is mercedes-benz. :-)) martin -- Last edit: 2007-06-24 20:26:56 |
