SMO 744 - with SMO 745 and SMO 746 were the first works-build 3000s in May 59, 2 months after the 3000 Mk1 launch. SMO 744 competed in - 1959 Alpine Rally - Bill Shepherd (Crashed) 1959 Liege-Rome-Liege - Peter Riley (3rd overall) 1959 RAC rally - J.
