Cab shared with Leylands for a short period - 1968-70? Ford Corsair on the right and a white two door Cortina Mark 2. |

BMC Laird, perhaps? |

Also possibly Mastiff, especially with the name board on top of the cab: http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/len_rogers/july2/bmc.jpg -- Last edit: 2007-06-12 16:01:32 |

Wouldn't it be sufficient to say it's a 1968-1970 BMC Pilot cab? |

The marks 'Mastiff' or 'Laird' are above 'BMC'. So we need a binocular... I think it says Mastiff because thats wider than Laird... |

Not the 16-ton Mastiff because the cab would sit higher and the wheel arches would be deeper. This is a medium tonnage panel truck so most likely a 'Laird'. The roof mounted headboard is an 'add-on' that could be added to any cab regardless of the truck's size. |
