Looks like a 25/30HP or a Wraith from 1937-1939 |

It's a 20HP Chassis, later rebuild like many other 20HP's when the old body was rotten or destroyed. It a typcal body built by Compton (Ranalah) |

by the way: the year of production is not correct. The "20Hp" was built from 1922 to 1929. This one was later rebodied. As the 20Hp had only in 1929 vertical radiator shutters it should be chamnged into 1929. (what at least is not sure, as many rebodied 20Hp's got another raditor. |

This is a 1930 20/25HP, chassis #GR75, with 2nd body by Ranalah. |

this my be a Ranalah but is most surely not a 20/25hp with a chassis# of GR75. All 20/25hp cars chassis # are 3 letters (all start with G) and then numbers (in order). All experimental cars #s had either an X or EX. All 20hp turned into 20/25hp by RR where renumbered to conform to 20/25 standards in chassis numbering at the same time. So this could be GRC75, but its not; could be GRF75 but those numbers don't go that high; could be GRW75 but that cars plate# is GS3616. So what IS this car? |

Ooops !! My finger was too quick for the keyboard and a letter was left out: it is chassis #GSR75. It was owned in Hong Kong by a Mr Smith at the time the film was shot, so everything fits in the picture ! |

All this discussion of the RR and no mention of the Singer Vogue. Priorities, chaps, priorities! |
