Chrysler, but I'm not sure if it's a New Yorker or Fifth Avenue. |

I'd say New Yorker. |

Notice how the front door shut line is well forward of the A pillar- that makes it a rear drive Fifth Avenue. The shut line on the front drive New Yorker is almost directly below the pillar. I can't be sure of the date - anywhere from about 1982 to '85? I haven't looked closely at one of these but I see in the Standard Catalog that they use torsion bar front springs so I presume this is based on the old Valiant underpinnings - it even has the same 112 inch wheelbase! |

Well it's obviously not FWD, but they did make a New Yorker based on the RWD Diplomat platform. http://www.angelfire.com/ca/mikesspot/82chrysler.html -- Last edit: 2007-06-12 02:58:38 |

Lack of side molding and chrome window wiper arms, so '82 only (Chrysler New Yorker). /vehicle_436152-Chrysler-Fifth-Avenue-1984.html -- Last edit: 2013-09-20 10:12:56 |
