Red E-type roadster goes over a cliff. I hope it wasn't a real one!! |

Carl Reiner: This little handle is like a magnet, your eyes are constantly drawn to it and you end up cockeyed. Now, as a director, I am constantly using my eyes and this Opti-Grab device has caused irreparable harm to my career. Let me show you a clip from my latest film, where my faulty depth-perception kept me from yelling "cut" at the proper time. "Cut!" |

Seems to have without plastic headlight cover. Is this 1968 model year? |

chris40 is right, XK-E in USA |

Judging by the thumbnails it looks like a replica. |

It might be a replica but if it is it's a good one. I don't think it is, though; in 1979 there were some very tired XK-Es around. |

Agree with chris40 - a lot of the structural bits look genuine as it disintegrates. My only comment is whether the bootlid with its apparent single line-only badge means an older car was pushed over (or perhaps it's all an early car which got updated lights - they look a bit odd in main). |

Reused here - /vehicle.php?id=819710. At least one photo there looks like 71+ S3, but others don't. |

I used to think the Jaguar going off the cliff was filmed for this movie, but as it turns out, nope. I just saw a 1974 episode of "Mannix" (titled "Death Has A Face") that had this crash... it's safe to assume that's what it was filmed for. -- Last edit: 2023-05-13 20:31:33 |
