No, comparing pictures in car brochures, reading what models where available and examine the details. Typing out the license number was just to differentiate the identifications.

Identify it as a 1941 Nash was a pretty fast google-search since they look slightly odd, not something from the big three. Design is around 1940-1942 so my first search was for 1941 Studebaker and second 1941 Nash. Sequential number plates also indicates something brand new.
Not a Ambassador 600 since those seem to lack the chrome trim around the windows leaving us with Ambassador Six and Eight.
Trunks looks long and sleek enough for coupes. The light colored one have the rear window slightly opened so it's probably not a Business Coupe leaving us with Coupe Brougham.
Might be Deluxes by the belt line trim.

This was my process in identifying these.
