Mitsubishi Galant. |

That's a 1983 model. I think it was still called "Colt" as a brand (in the UK) instead of Mitsubishi at that time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colt_Car_Company It could also be a Australian-made Galant Sigma, or maybe a Lonsdale ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lonsdale_%28car%29 -- Last edit: 2007-06-07 23:20:58 |

Very late 4th gen car. Indeed it played with "Colt" brand in UK. Sedan was called "Galant" and estate "Sigma". -- Last edit: 2010-08-24 14:49:21 |

Wheels look very Lonsdale |

That makes three. Watch out Crown Vics - the Lonsies are on the march... (Now I've said it) |

I admire your enthusiasm - and good strategy to launch another onslaught - the Crown Vics will be bricking it because they have no idea which direction the next threat could come from. But - just between you and me - we probably have more Crown Vics on the site than the total production of Lonsdales ... |

The closest threat to the Crown Victoria seems to be the Volkswagen Typ 1. 5,763 CVs, 5,592 Typ 1s. And I'm sure there's still some shows and movies we don't have here yet that have them, and there will likely be more in the future, because of their collector status, at least in the US. When it comes to modern models still in production, the Ford Mustang could be a threat, 4,383 Mustangs, and with the new generation model now out, that number is bound to climb even higher. The Chevrolet Impala (4,119) isn't too far behind, either. |

No sign of a Waldron Wayfarer then. |

Check in the unknown from 2006/07 - you might find one there. |

And no sign of an Interstate Trax either - that's the one car I'm hoping will turn up once on the site. Alert me when you find one. |
