Through the Rover windscreen, another one for our J.Lyons collection, our first Lyons FG, and maybe the newest thing in our Lyons set. 1967 too early for BMC, so Austin or Morris. No idea what "Superbread" is, but I hope it was good for Marmite butties. |

1960 Morris FG 3-ton (most likely?) or 4-tons (Morris grille in the photo). I don't remember 'Superbread' but the packaging looks familiar... from http://www.kzwp.com/lyons2/bread.htm "After the war, Lyons' national brand was Superbread. During the 1950s, competition from Mother's Pride and Sunblest became so intense that by 1960 Lyons' bread-making position had slipped to fifth place, accounting for only 1 per cent of the national market," Slightly later, however not in the nice livery so does not count for me.
