So S by default, for the 1st year? Like you also wrote on the other page, that it was 1st named simply "S" and only later "GLS". |

S was first year only Oct 77 to Oct 78, when it was upgraded to GLS with extra bits. We had KKV 137V, a blue GLS registered Feb 80 with grey/white upholstery, tints, headrests, posh seats etc. The bizarre colour scheme meant it was offered at a discount through the Chrysler lease scheme, but it actually looked quite smart and we bought it off Chrysler after the lease period for my mum to use for a few years, then passed on to my sister. I'll stick with this one as a GLS - vinyl roof, sporty wheel covers, headrests (Oct 78+ on GL and GLS), but changing to 79+. |
