By the style of the front grille, it's a 100/6. It's perhaps a 1958 two-seater with the more powerful engine. First 100/6 were only 2+2. |

Could be a 100S |

One of the features of the 100S ( 55 built and only in 1955 ) was a one-piece plexiglas low windscreen. By the position of the roll-bar, it seems to be r.h.d. ( and in fact all 100S were r.h.d. ), but this car seems to have a sort of two separated "aeroscreens" not like an original 100S. |

Another feature of the 100S, was a leather bonnet strap, which this car appears to have. All six cylinder Healeys had an additional air intake at the front of the bonnet above the grill, which this car does not have. I don't think any Healeys left the factory with roll bars fitted, so maybe whoever installed the suspension bridge that this one is carrying also fitted a couple of aero- screens. |

Looking closely at the bonnet, I agree that it doesn't seem to have the air intake. In adition to that, since some of the particular features of the rare 100S can be perceived in this car, I think it can be assumed it's one of them. |

This is an Austin Healey 100-S , the vehicle was raced at Sebring 1955 and was owned by Briggs Cunningham , This particular car has a vent cut in the lower front shroud to allow cooling of the oil cooler when it had its first race at Sebring. It is actually the first 100-S and the only one painted old English white with a blue stripe down the center. This was the paint required by Cunningham. The vehicle is right hand drive and has a driver rollbar hoop. We are currently restoring this vehicle |

.... which makes it 100 S, chassis #AHS 3506. 1955 Sebring was works-supported private entry by Cunningham team William Brewster/Bill Rutan, 15th. The winning Jaguar D-type #XKD 406 (Hawthorn/Phil Walters) was also a Cunningham entry. |
