Extremely rare Australian F-350 ambulance - I've never seen one in person before. They were first introduced in 2002, and I think they were mainly used in country towns and rural areas (though this footage is Melbourne, a big city), since I believe the very wide turning circle (and width) made them difficult to navigate some of Melbourne's narrow streets. I'm not sure how recent this footage is, but if it's current, it's very surprising that one is still in service after 15 years! EDIT: I just found out that there are special ambulances in Victoria that transport large/overweight patients who won't fit in the normal "narrow-body" Sprinters. It's possible that this is one of those, although currently they are using cab chassis Sprinters with a custom body. -- Last edit: 2022-10-07 22:19:11 |

Yay! Another rarity. This model should NOT carry the 'Super Duty' nameplate as ALL Brazilian built models are labeled as F-250/350. |
