Have to confirm but I know 1999-2000 Silverado trucks did not come with a Crew Cab option as the C/K-Series ran until 2000 (2500/3500 only). I have to confirm when this generation started with that style. It is either 2001 or 2002. I think the former as I doubt GM would let the HD/Crew Cab market slip away. According to the brochures/Gtcarlot(I checked the VINs), and online resources it appears the Crew Cab came out for 2001. 1999: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/Chevrolet/Silverado+1500/1999/ - Only Extended Cab/ Regular Cab available. 2000: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/Chevrolet/Silverado+1500/2000/ - Only Extended Cab/ Regular Cab available. 2001: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/Chevrolet/Silverado+1500/2001/ - First with Crew Cab labeled.
