Headlights are placed quite low, therefore I'd say it's a 356 A. On the windshield you can read '55'. Would that be the year? I think it could. |

Could be a 1955 in fact. It's a pre-A with 'Knickscheibe' (bent windshield), which was built from 1952-1955. |

What a pity of those aerodynamic mirrors and the strange bumper-construction... Btw, the white car in the background is a 1953+ Citroën 11CV, probably a BL (berline légère) with non-original paint. |
