Although this looks like a Tarago (nearly had me fooled), upon closer inspection, it's actually a grey import Estima Aeras. Note the subtle differences: side skirts/body kit (not on any model Tarago), no Toyota emblem on bonnet, sunroof but no roof rails (all Taragos with sunroofs also had roof racks), and unique front bumper. Note that base model (non-Aeras) Estimas don't have side skirts either, and have the same front bumper as the Tarago, which makes them even harder to pick apart. These Estimas have been flooding into Australia within the last few years. In fact, on Carsales.com.au, there are now more Estimas for sale than Taragos in this generation! To those adding these vehicles in future - don't automatically assume it's a Tarago just because it's in Australia. Look for the small differences mentioned above. EDIT: I just found the exact numbers of these in Australia. There are 8,938 grey import Estimas of this generation in Australia currently registered, compared to 11,407 Taragos. -- Last edit: 2022-01-01 02:43:39 |
