Or Oxford [MO]?? I think the Oxford was the only one to have this rounded body line in the front door - Wolseley had a vertical edge. Plus bonnet dome seems curved Oxford-ish above grille, not the Wolseley upright. Is it a Riley behind?? |

Yes dsl, Oxford [MO] and not Morris Six or Wolseley for the reasons given. The Riley is a possibility, looks right to me. -- Last edit: 2017-08-21 13:23:17 |

Link to "www.google.co.uk" http://rileyrob.co.uk/specs/bmc/2point6.htm https://www.classicargarage.com/en/garages/lex/sold/riley-pathfinder-1956 In my opinion not a Riley. There is no chrome strip running along the base of the c-pillar to the rear windscreen surround. There is one on the Wolseley 6/90, but even then I am not convinced, because the Wolseleys seem to have a separate chrome surround to the rear glass, not apparently present here. I think that the Oxford is later than 1949, as there is a later style number plate mounted on the boot lid, 1951? |
