@dsl: Shouldn't "Wesblad" be Westblad? If so meaning 'leaf (blad =leaf) of the west'. Many Swedish, and Finnish, names (I don't know about Norwegian and Danish names) consists of natural references, with 18th and 19th century origins. My own as well. And shouldn't "Bengtson" be spelled with two s, like Bengtsson? Most -son names does in Sweden, but some change their name when moving to a English speaking country. -- Last edit: 2017-08-19 00:03:08 |

@dsl: Bengtsson is spelled with two s, according to contemporary Volvo ads Link to "www.volvoamazonpictures.se" (1959-01-25 and 1960-05-19). Wesblad deserves more research. -- Last edit: 2017-08-19 20:42:21 |
