I guess it's a Panhard lorry with 4HL engine... maybe DynaMike will help ![]() |

It does look like a Panhard, but I'm not really sure... It's not one of the common Movic or Zuvic trucks. Somehow the windshield is too small for a Panhard, and the grille seems to be too vertical... ![]() |

I've had the same idea...looks like sort of K Series of Panhard, former model than Movic/Zuvic, but the windscreen and radiator height don't match exactly... I miss more documetation on those Panhard lorries (my source "PANHARD la doyenne d'avant garde" by Benoit Pérot is not accurate enough on this particular point ![]() |

@DynaMike: It resembles for a bit the Panhard Movic IE35 (1949-1951 - also a smaller windshield) on the bottom of page 10 of Panhard Koerier 145 (for the others, that's the Dutch Panhardclub Magazine - see www.panhardclub.nl). But then again... I'm the only club member without a Panhard so maybe better for me to shut up and ![]() -- Last edit: 2007-05-15 17:04:16 |

That's true, Kees-Jan, but still the grille doesn't fit, and the windshield of the truck you mentioned has four parts: the two normal flat pieces of glass and two rounded ones on the edge (like a "Panoramique" or "Dynamic"). And it was made in Holland for the Dutch market... If it had been the right one, it would have been really very interesting: a Dutch built Panhard truck in the middle of Paris in 1953... |
