The abbreviated side spear makes me think 1958. The '57 spear went all the way to the tail lamp housing. |

Holy cow, look at the badge on the left - this car had a D500 The D500 (also available as dual-carburetor Super D500, I think the badge was the same either way) was a 361 cubic inch V-8 with 320 horsepower in D500 spec (333 horsepower in Super D500) and the top Dodge engine in 1958. According to this source, 7,617 1958 D500s were built: http://www.forwardlook.net/mail-archive/msg29307.html Aside from the engine, it looks a rather plain four-door sedan.
