from the show i only remember Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Elmo & the one who lives in a trash can .. watched it nearly 35 years ago.. |

In Germany there were other characters, like the snail Tiffy, Samson the bear, Wool the sheep, a horse named Horse and Oscar's cousin who lived in a barrel instead of a trash can. Elmo only appeared on German Sesame Street very late, around the end of the last decade or so. |
